udee is an online magazine that celebrates the narratives and initiatives of socially conscious female and non-binary creators.

Derived from the word underdog, which is traditionally defined as the team expected to lose, we are passionate about calling out toxic, patriarchal messaging within the media as well as faux, commercialised ‘feminism’.

A tribute to the women in the arts, our (often unconventional) families, and our memories, udee is an inclusive space that harnesses the essence of unified sisterhood and kinship.

Operating out of Melbourne - Australia, we would like to acknowledge the peoples whose land we are incredibly privileged to be able to operate from: the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation; we would also like to pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.
